Small Producers Pilot Fund
Are you a small producer in Scotland? Do you support small producers to get their products into the market?
This fund is here to help you grow your business and make a bigger impact in your community.
What’s Available?
- Individual grants of up to £10,000 to help you invest in your business.
- Collaborative projects over £10,000 will also be considered if you're working with others.
If you qualify, we’re keen to award grants so that we can get support out quickly and make a difference fast.
Who can apply?
You can apply if you:
- A sole trader, partnership, limited company, a constituted & registered social enterprise, or start-up
- Have up to 10 FTEs, including seasonal and self-employed workers but excluding apprentices and volunteers
- Have a turnover of less than £2 million
- Operate on a holding of 30 hectares or less, or support those that do
- Have a Business Reference Number (BRN) yourself (or flock number for landless businesses) or can provide the details of the businesses that you support
- Are actively producing food, drink or textiles for sale.

We are managing the fund for producers in:
- South of Scotland
- Central Scotland Area

What else should I know?
- You can get up to 100% of your project costs covered
- All spending must be completed by 10 March 2026
- Projects must not start before you apply
