Real Models brings together local businesses, entrepreneurs and young people to inspire and promote self-employment as a positive destination (career path).

The programme has been created by SOSE to allow local high schools and DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) to tap into “Real Models” from local businesses to inspire their young people and showcase self-employment and entrepreneurship as a positive destination they can consider.

The format

Taking place during Global Entrepreneurship Week (18-24 November) alongside DYW, we will be organising and bringing in local young business owners and entrepreneurs to high schools across the region to speak about their career journey, the highs and lows of self-employment and advice they would give to young people considering their career options.
