Community and Third Sector Recovery Programme

Part of a £350m support package by the Scottish Government for the sector in response to the Coronavirus pandemic, the £25m Community & Third Sector Recovery Programme aims to support charities, community groups, social enterprises and voluntary organisations that are supporting people and communities through the shift from lockdown to recovery. As well as providing ongoing crisis support, they will be planning and implementing changes to adapt and thrive in a very different social and economic climate.

The programme has two strands: Adapt & Thrive Programme aims to support organisational change; Communities Recovery Fund (now closed to applications) aims to support the delivery of services in communities that were suspended or reduced because of COVID-19, or the creation of new services that tackle new challenges presented.

Coronavirus Third Sector Information Hub

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) is managing the official coronavirus information hub for the third sector, which is being constantly updated with information, guidance and resources. The SCVO is also working with funders to identify the main areas where funding is needed.

Just Enterprise

Just Enterprise is a pan-Scotland comprehensive programme designed to help social enterprises and budding social entrepreneurs achieve their trading ambitions. Supported by the Scottish Government, Just Enterprise is committed to the growth and sustainability of Scotland's third sector and their start up, business support, business recovery, procurement, leadership and learning services are available to help you succeed.

Third Sector Interfaces (TSIs)

Third sector interfaces (TSIs) provide a single point of access for support and advice for the third sector within local areas. There is a TSI in each local authority area in Scotland. Each TSI receives Scottish Government funding to deliver on and towards an outcomes framework.
