Session 1 of our Intro to Tech Series - brought to you by South of Scotland Enterprise, SRUC, Borders College & techscaler.

In this session you will hear from tech entrepreneurs and speakers to inspire you and open up your imagination to the world of tech!

At Session 1 you can look forward to hearing from experts including:

Andrew Parfery has worked in the hospital & health care industry, before moving into tech and founding a tech company for the care sector, Care Sourcer, which was acquisition by KareHero where Andrew is now CRO and Entrepreneur in Residence at Borders College to inspire more people into becoming tech entrepreneurs.

David Catto is founder of MyFitStories, a platform for uniting people through story-telling, sport & exercise. David has worked in various business and management roles, but with his passion for sport is entering the entrepreneurial world with his own tech company.

Michael Gardiner Working in digital strategy and global roles for 15 years, Michael is now at South of Scotland Enterprise bringing digital expertise and knowledge to support and develop businesses across the South of Scotland.


Techscaler is a Scottish Government funded programme, delivered by CodeBase, and offers tailored support for everyone in Scotland who wants to build a startup, whether they are considering a career in startups or are developing, building and scaling an idea.
