South of Scotland Music Sector  

The music sector in the South of Scotland holds significant cultural and economic value.

To enhance our understanding and support the growth of this sector, SOSE and our partners are undertaking a comprehensive data project that will gather, analyse, and visualise data to provide insights into the music industry in the region. 

The findings of this data project will be shared on this page at a later date.

Partners involved in the development of this project include Creative Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival, Dumfries and Galloway Council, Dumfries Music Collective, MacArts, Live Borders, Loreburn Hall, Music Venue Trust, Scottish Music Industry Association and South of Scotland Enterprise.
